Congratulations! I missed it by like 6 hours.

Les was telling me that it was probably sold but told me all about it anyway.
Sounded like a fair deal. He had camped in it for a long time, on and off the truck in Central America. He also said he for some reason ripped out the cassette toilet.


You could bring it to FWC on your way back and have them go over it?
I wonder if they do any warranty work for second owners?

Anyway, congrats again and post up some pic's.

Hi Sam,

Thanks. I have been looking for a newer used Keystone for about 2 years. Couldn't quite go the cost of new. I found a newer used Keystone in the Tahoe area back in Feb 2012 but the buyer backed out at the last minute. Price was the same as this one.

I jumped on this as soon as I saw it. I did not try to negotiate the price lower as it is fair maybe even a bit low for the age and condition (the price helped overcome the distance). Buying sight unseen I asked a lot of questions, checked with Four Wheel on the options and the owner and requested a lot of pictures. In the end Les agreed to bring it with him on a day trip to Billings and I had my cousin look it over for me.

A bit scary to buy a camper without seeing it in person then wire $12,500 to someone you have never met and who is a 2 or 3 day drive away. So far so good. I did get the signed Certificate of Origin which has lines (completed) for ownership transfer on it.

I am looking forwrd to picking it up, meeting Les and then using it on a nice vacation immediately following pickup.

I will post some pics after we return from the trip.

The camper has no fridge, yes range and furnace, propane tank, some upgraded electricals, original upholstery and vinyl and windows. Roof doesn't leak.

I'll post pictures later but I wanted to get the word out to my friends here on WtW.
