Lost again
Thanks for the comments guys.
I will hopefully get a chance to post more in a couple of days.
But picking up where I left off we returned to Furnace Creek by paved road and of course we had to stop and have our picture taken at the lowest point in North America.
We had a reservation to spend the night at one of the Furnace Creek cabins which were clean and somewhat retro. The best part was the showers!!!!
After scrubbing ourselves clean we had planned on eating at the restaurant there but since we did that the first night and the food was basically bar fare we decided to see if we could get a table at the Furnace Creek Inn and we're lucky enough to snag a recently cancelled reservation for 6:30!!!
Dinner was fantastic and considerable more upscale than the Ranch.
A fitting end to a great day!
