What is thickness of overhang plywood and outer covering?

I am thinking of screwing into the overhang on my 2016 Grandby from below to attach a 5x5 square vinyl storage box. I don't know the thickness of this overhang material, and I don't want any screws to poke through to the sleeping area. Does anyone know the thickness of this material??

I was told 2 X 3/4 plywood, not verified though (floor thickness 1 1/2 total)

I very much doubt it is that thick or heavy on my 2012 FWC camper.

I believe it is 5/8 " thick on many Hawks.

on the floor itself or the "floor pack" = the wood parts between the alum siding and the floor itself? on my 2002 Hawk the wood was 5/8" plywood. I used 1/2" screws on mine when attaching things

We have a large Eezi Awn K9 camp table, measuring 44-1/2 x 27-1/2 that is mounted on two sliding rails under our overhang on our 2016 Grandby. It is installed with 1/4" Tee Nuts under the slideout bed. I also built a 3-1/2" deep x 29-1/2" long x 20" wide box that also hangs from 1/4" Tee Nuts that holds my 8 foot Extend and Climb ladder that I use when I'm strapping down my kayak. The Tee Nuts are bomber.

So, are the tee nuts on the upper inside of the plywood and you drilled thru ?

Confused about what Tee nuts are I guess.

oh, I see I read the OP's question wrong. On my 2002 the material is a composite sandwich of some kind, 5/8 thick. I also used T-nuts to mount something there... in my case, my wind fairing.

The T-nuts go on the inside, under the mattress. As you tighten the nut on the other side, it sucks it right into the material until it is flush. Nice and strong.
