I did a search but didn't have any luck. I'm getting ready to replace the fiberboard panels in my 2000 Eagle. What are the alternatives to the black composite FWC has been using? I'd prefer something white like the old ones.

Same problem with my 2000 Eagle. I moved the tubes back into their original position and reskinned the front with a sheet 0f 16 ga. aluminum and sheet metal screws. Seems pretty solid.

I made my own. Very simple, cheap, and handy.

I've done it, freeway speeds, HIGH pucker factor.

After 20 years of use, the frame in the front wall has broken some welds. My plan is to install angle brackets at the damaged welds and then sheet the wall with a single piece of 16ga. aluminum screwed to all the framing members. Any comments or suggestions?

I cut the flaps off my Eagle when I saw that FWC wasn't putting them on anymore. Hasn't been a problem.

Look into the construction of other campers and I think you'll see the difference.FWC and ATC aluminum framing is great. Yes, you can easily gut an FWC and set it up however you want.

My Eagle is also 69" wide. Since I sleep on my side, I sleep East/West when I;m alone just fine. With company, I pull out the bed shelf for a queen size.

It's likely a plastic veneer over the plywood. I believe that's what my 2000 had. For stain matching I start with manufacture's samples and mix and match from there. There is no perfect.
