    I sleep overnight and rethought about this and I came up with the best answer I can think of. Take you truck and camper to a good body shop for the bed strength (metal fatigue and stress) you insurance company and the state patrol:thumb:

    Go with your comfort level how you will mount your camper. WOW comfort level, mount,camper, well why not just use some glue drop the camper and call it good. motorhomes and travel trailers,buses, cars, truck cabs, beds are BOLTED TO THE FRAME NOT TIN

    In my opinion what they do at the dealership is good enough to get you home my ? is why would any body use 10 dollars worth of hardware to hold a 10,000 dollar camper to a 30.000 dollar truck my self I use fastguns I can go anywhere with them spring loaded locknutz simply the best...

    I was ready to go with safety wire (same function as lock nut), but when I looked close I found the turnbuckles were NOT FLEXING ENOUGH and my truck bed pulled up about 1/4" where the eye bolts mount. Nutting turnbuckles won't help. The eye bolts and turnbuckles are just fine on the freeway...

    what he's getting at is if you can keep the turn buckles from spinning it doesn't matter if they flex some, they won't wiggle free if they can't unscrew enough. yes yes yes

    two small====== that bed is just tin you need bigger plates welded or bolted on your truck the camper looks ok on the truck side your just askin for problems
