Gotcha - thanks for the clarification. My tundra is extremely tight between the top of the bed rail and bottom of the camper, I don't think I could attach those brackets, plus I am looking for something I can leave installed if need be. Thanks though.

I have an older Hawk (1999?) on a 2012 Tundra, works well with a platform underneath that's made of 2x4's laid flat and 2 layers of 3/4" plywood over top. If you need any measurements off the truck bed let me know and I'll get them for you.

Spent the day after buying my FWC Hawk exploring the Mojave Preserve, and camped at Hole in the Wall campground. Second trip out is planned for this weekend - taking our 5 month old son camping for the first time, along with a couple of other new parents.
