    Swollen lug nuts….

All juvenile jokes aside. I have a 2015 F150 and ran into this problem. Apparently many vehicles today use a two piece lug nut. It has a inner nut and a outer cap/shell. Repeated air tool removal, environmental issues, etc causes them to swell and you will not be able to get your socket on them...

    Environmental monitoring / logging

which one? Tempo disc or Pebble? Disc is cute and small, but Pebble uses AA batteries - either look to have great battery life in the occasional polling configuration. The way I would probably use it is to set outside of camper and then pull down the data the next morning or leave in camper...

Anyone using an inReach 2-way Satellite Communicator?

XT60 connector - RC Hobby meets battery box

Have watched videos of folks soldering 10 awg to a XT60 - a bit tight but works. I think you can go down to 6 awg with the bigger brother XT90 connector (90 amps, get used in big RC copters, ebikes, etc.) I'm not an RC model guy, but this video does a nice job of showing the XT series of...

    Tankless Shower system

I carry a Mr Heater Boss XB13 battery powered water heater. It works pretty well. If the water is really cold you have to recirculate a bit back into your source bucket. I carry a collapsable bucket for the source water. Drop hose in the bucket and the battery pumps water through the...
