A bit out of the way, but if you're wandering into Capitol Reef NP, check out the historic Gifford homestead near the Visitor Center. The little shop sells great small-diameter fruit pies. They're excellent, and it's a long way to another bakery anyway.

Has anyone used the 350-watt "Handy Heater" in a popup? Saw them at Rite-Aid, not too expensive. Space heater plugs directly into outlet and stays there, so is compact with no wiring or extension cords needed. With my Eagle, this could only be used with shore power, since the 110 outlet...

Good info on resources. I also prefer printed maps, and my truck is a roving map library (mostly Auto Club of So Cal county scale, which are no longer produced, you can guess what my opinion is on that). Dispersed campsites by definition won't show up on maps, but you'd have to know the policy...
