Install How to: ARB Awning on a Four Wheel Camper

This could not have come at a better time. I just ordered one of these and I just thought I'd figure out some way to mount it when it arrived. You just saved me a lot "ingineering..."

THANKS A BUNCH!

Hopefully Stan can confirm but from what I understand is on the newer models FWC is installing a wooden strip down every camper regardless if you order an awning or not, that way you can still mount one down the line. My plan was to just drill straight through the camper and into that. I personally don't see the need to ever remove the awning I guess.

i have a 2016 hawk, and there is no wooded strip. but i am planning on installing an arb/smittybilt awning before this weekends race. going to use large zip/self tapping screws. some have done this. maybe 6 to 8?
