I know of a similar plaque, but tradition requires that I never take a picture of it nor mention where it is. Amazingly, that tradition is holding up in spite of the large influx of new people traveling that route.

Today's COVID19 advice on a reader board on Interstate 5 south of Mt Shasta, CA.

Similar advice on a reader board along US 97 in central Oregon today, while not forgetting the importance of safe driving (not just safe touching).

On an earlier post... I recalled the song from the early 70's ...Sign signs everywhere signs...blocking up their scenery blowing my mind ..don't do this don't do that.....
well someone remembered it too

Yep, "5-Man Electrical Band". For some reason their hit song occasionally pops up in my head.
(But I'm really more sympathetic to the sign-posters than the long-hairs. :p)

Well, I was driving and suffering from inertia. I didn't stop and get a photo but here's how they read -

In downtown Halfway, OR, a sign marking the liquor store -
"Halfway Sober Liquor"

In downtown Lowman, ID, a sign marking a church -
"Lowman Community Church
We welcome you
No tresspassing
Private Property"
