Thanks Casa. I've found and ordered from suspaparts.com the 40# lifters for $25 ea.
I contacted Jeff at ATC to purchase brackets, and since we both live in the same town, he met me on Saturday with three sets of off-set brackets and one pair of flat brackets (front bottom location). Thanks Jeff! He says the horizontal distance between center of pivot to center is 22 3/4" for the suspa lifters, when the top is down, of course.
The off-set brackets fit perfectly in the aluminum rain gutter door trim. I'll wait for the suspa delivery later this week before I commit to drilling holes for the #10 screws. I plan to align as much as possible with existing screw holes to minimize penetrations. It should work at at least three or four screw hole locations, which I think is worth doing.
I'll snap some pics and post later in the week.
You can use one of the original screw holes for each bracket.That only leaves you to drill one extra hole.I found that if you center the bottom brackets on the camper touching each other than lift the top and using the lifters at their near full extension you can aline the top brackets.It's really a pice of cake. I positioned my top brackets so that when the top is down there is little or no lifter shaft showing.Are you placing them on the outside like some of us have done.They work great there and don't get in the way.
