At first I thought it was a bearded hippie, but it turned out to be none other than Mr. Ski3pin himself, trying to devour a milkshake in scenic downtown Fields Station, Oregon.
How interesting that we would also find Wandering Sagebrush at Steens.Wandering Sagebrush said:Found Mr & Mrs 3Pin in the Steens. Wildhorse in the background.
Just a coincidence, a mere coincidence… I’m sure.ski3pin said:How interesting that we would also find Wandering Sagebrush at Steens.
CraggyMan, I assume you're referring to this "Horror Story".CraggyMan said:Did we need the snorkel when we got dragged through Smith Creek...?
I just saw that rig earlier today after we did a walk at the Riley Ranch. Looks pretty sweet for sure. Was wondering if there was a listing for it anywhere?? I looked on Craigslist and did not see anything similar.MarkBC said:CraggyMan, I assume you're referring to this "Horror Story".
No, apparently we didn't need it. My truck's engine was running while submerged in the raging waters of Smith Creek and suffered no damage.
But necessary or not, snorkels provide value in gnarlyness of appearance, the importance of which can't be ignored.
I think you should make an offer on that gnarly rig on O.B.Riley.
I saw a QR code on the driver's side. Maybe scan it to find a listing and details.CraggyMan said:I just saw that rig earlier today after we did a walk at the Riley Ranch. Looks pretty sweet for sure. It's not just you, Smoke. Even a relative late comer like me (2013) has noticed a difference in my reception by other FWC/ATC owners. Many today I guess have a "meh, it's just a camper" attitude, but I still wave and say "hi" given a chance. From time to time, I still find a fellow enthusiast who is happy to trade stories, tips, and secrets they've found—bless 'em.Smokecreek1 said:Today, it seems like my happy wave or "Hi" is met by a blank look or an effort to run away from me.... Just saying now-times are different I guess.
