The Big Summer Adventure - August 2019

Great series of adventures/stories. Saw you guys at saddlebag as we were transiting through Yosemite in the opposite direction. Big blue dodge with a Fwc hawk on it. Wanted to say hi, but got caught up talking to the “interesting” campground host. Swung by later, but you guys were sacked out already.
Have been following your adventures past and present over the past year: awesome guides to the Sierra and Nevada. Thanks for sharing these great stories. Hopefully will see you sometime on the road

Thanks for all the reports, I read them all. I especially like the hikes above timberline and granite peaks. I don't get enough of that (any) here in Oregon and it's my favorite setting to be in.

What a great Summer trip.
Thank you for all the parts.
Every part got better then the previous one.
I appreciate all the time you put into telling
us all about your adventures.

Yes, a fine summer trip. Great photos and commentary- I always get a chuckle or two out of your writing and it's fun to see the wildlife you encounter. Especially enjoyed the sheep (and goat) photos. Your Yosemite report brought back fond memories of a back-packing trip with my son back in 2006- my first visit there. Then he and his bride were married there a couple years ago so lots of memories. We would really like to get into the Wind River range some day. Like others, I really appreciate all the care you take putting your reports together. Thanks!

Marc and Maria, thanks for the kind comment! Yes, we walked up the hill after dinner to see if perhaps the folks in the pop up on the big Dodge were members of the Wander the West family. You were busy in conversation with the camp host. Unfortunately because of a confrontation with his large dog off leash in the early morning, we could not stop and interrupt. We hope your trip was great! :)
