Season is pretty short from Thanksgiving until the end of January, but I think the sandhills stay much longer down by Stockton.
Good place to see birds are the NWR and local rice fields.

Yes, the kitchen is done.
 
Very nice kitchen.Did you do the work?
Looks like the place for great meals to come from.
Love the wood floors.A lot of people stay away from them especially in the kitchen.
They are actually easier to keep clean,IMO.

Not rare or exotic, but with its huge bushy tail and beautiful gray coat, the Western Gray Squirrel is still an attractive little critter.
