Trip of a life time... help

G day camper gurus! I have become a member to your very informative group in the search for greater knowledge and some new comrades.
I’m planning on leaving Australia next February and set up base in California for a short amount of time. While there In as smallest time frame possible my goal is to find an 1st gen tundra and a camper , under take the required mods then hit the road! the destination??? SOUTH AMERICA!!

Now I am asking for your help! I will be trying to not burn money unnecessarily
Has Anyone in the los angles got a garage and can assist me in putting in new shocks and super springs and other mods required to get me on my trip
I have 7 months of research and hunting.
Any info or tips will be taking on board!
Oh the for truck and camper is around 12k to 14k

Welcome to the cult.Your plans sound like a great trip.
Finding a 1st gen tundra shouldn't be a problem,and a camper to mount,
just keep searching the site they pop up fairly regularly.
