I have an 03 GMC 2500 HD Diesel. I had the truck before I had the camper and towed a 26 Ft fifth wheel and the flatbed trailer behind that. The combo of the Hawk and trailer is nice and less stressful driving but I still take the fifth wheel sometimes if I will be staying some place for a week...

I tow a flat bed trailer for my Yamaha Rhino and when I set up camp I back up to the trailer sideways and put down a piece of artifical turf and it makes a nice porch. Sorry No picture.

Great point Craig, I had a person riding in my truck most all day and at the end of the day is when he realized it was a diesel and could not believe how quiet it is.

My 03 2500 HD diesel has been the most inexpensive to own vehicle I have ever owned. It is my daily driver and that consist of 90 miles a day most of which is mountain road between Reno and Lake Tahoe. 108,000 miles on it now and original brake pads still look new. Life time fuel aveage is at 17...

I'm glad I moved my Hawk into the shed, the wind is pretty bad. Now I just hope the shed does'nt blow down. Right know I'm stuck here at work in Incline Village keeping snow removal equipment going and it looks like I have to take the long way home as SR431 Mont Rose Highway is closed.:mad:

I have used one of those and works pretty well, a little difficult to control heat. The problem I see is on my new Hawk the stove knobs are on top (don't know about older models) and it may not fit without possibly burning the knobs.

I know the topic is about an oven for inside the camper but do any of you use a cast iron dutch oven? I love mine and there are so many things you can do with them. Maybe this should be a new topic and share recipes.

I need my rig often during the winter months so I blow the system out as much as posible for storage so I don't have to deal with flushing out the antifreeze for a short weekend trip. I would'nt mind using whisky in the system, It would taste better:D
