My carefree brand awning does not rattle or make any noise. I bolted the brackets to the side of my truck that the support arms go into. Makes it a lot more stable in wind and quicker to setup. Ill have to post a picture.

Nice! Camper101. The extra benifit I find with the Paco pad also is that they don't absorb the sweat or condensation when sleeping in cold weather. The stock pads stay soaked after a few nights of cold weather camping. The Paco pad just wipes dry with a towel or drys quickly on its own.

The duffle bag you see in the picture above besides the drawers has our carefree colorado weekender tent in it that attaches to our awning. It's been great to set up on our longer stops or we sometimes just put up one wall for wind or sun protection.
