A call to the Austin Ranger District office confirmed what many said here, some snow on the ground and changeable conditions. It looks like we'll head up to the north coast which is our usual spring destination. Who knows? After Friday's tsunami it may look very different from my last visit.

Was that from the High Peaks Trail? Yep. That portion of the High Peaks Trail marked "steep and narrow" on the park service map offered the best vantage points. Condor #40 landed on a rock outcrop about 50' off the trail.

I have an ATC Bobcat on a Frontier. The camper is 52 1/2 inches from the base of the floor pack to the top of the standard roof vent. My garage door opening is 83 1/2 inches high. If I dump the air from the airbags the roof vent clears the opening by 3/8 inch.
