Mid nineties by the weekend
Not so fast Craig. It's 97 here at the beach.craig333 said:A mere 93 today. 10-15 degrees above average for this time of year.
Mark, it was 20 on Tuesday morning in the Fort Rock area. I got up to 37 in the Airstream.MarkBC said:After a few days with highs in the low 60s, today it was in the mid-70s -- warm enough to open a lot of windows of the house again (during midday -- not at night anymore).
Forecast highs of up to 80 here this weekend.
I don't think we've yet hit freezing at my place, which is unusual (though some spots in the area dropped below freezing).

I wish they would stop messing with the clock! Pick a time and stay with it.ski3pin said:...........................and daylight savings time ends (except for you Mr. chnlisle in AZ) Sunday morning Nov. 2
Standard time year 'round would suit us fine. We like to get up early and nowadays there is a clock in EVERYTHING! Takes us an afternoon on Saturday and then we always miss two or three...........................Wandering Sagebrush said:I wish they would stop messing with the clock! Pick a time and stay with it.
My cranky old body doesn't handle it very easily...
At the very least can't we get rid of the extra month now tacked on each end of daylight savings time? I'm damn tired of waiting for it to get light in the morning. Hell with them, I'm turning all our clocks back now.Wandering Sagebrush said:I wish they would stop messing with the clock! Pick a time and stay with it.

Wish I could but neither the latter or the former apply.MarkBC said:DST: If retired or otherwise not working on the clock, why not just get up an hour later during DST? In other words, ignore it.
