Looking like a terrific trip! I gotta go back and see your route... such wide open places one can breathe. Keep posting!

Thanks for more posting.Very beautiful country.

Watson Lake been there so a lot of your next route will be memories for me.

I met a WTW member Barry who lives there and sometimes works at the visitors center.

Be sure to keep in mind bears are fatting up with one thing in mind...calories..... Here is a live cam from the bears if you get wifi or cell...been there...ain't easy.
Loving your trip can't wait to go back up yonder.

I took the Ferry to Haines and have not gone through those pictures yet.
I had to take an emergency drive to Whitehorse.
the thing thaty has most concerned me happened, the dogs found a porcupine.
I managed to remove the quills from Gabby, but Sox needed help. The vet had to knock him out and removed an estimated 2500 quills.

He is doing better now

I am going to backtrack partway down Haines road to see some of what I missed.

I’m glad you were able to get Sox to a vet! That number of quills would probably have killed him.

Other than the porcupine, it looks like you’re having a wonderful trip! Thanks for letting us tag along…

There's always some added adventure out there.
Glad the dogs are OK and that you didn't get involved
with the critter.
Enjoy Haines.Make sure you drive past the ferry terminal
to Chilcoot Lake and the CG If you need a place to camp it's a nice campground.
Lots of salmon and bears eating them at the weir.

Thanks for this post of photos.
