Winter Wanderland

Patrick, getting older has already reduced my height at least an inch, but I need a couple more. On gravel, I raise the auger, which then lowers the handle. So far, I’ve only broken one shear bolt in the rocks.
 
A nice brisk 8° and crystal clear. The Elk Horn Mts are beautiful.

We’ve been toying with the idea of taking an extended trip to Mongolia this summer and have been watching the weather there…definitely NOT someplace to explore in the winter…

Finland in winter is a wonderland. Pretty cold but have the clothes for it. Commented last night that im wearing a down sleeping bag.. Last night tried for Aurora but fizzled out. Will try again if there are no clouds.
