wow,better than hot dogs

never thought i'd say this but i found something better over the fire than hot dogs and i can't believe it doesn't include bacon. on our last trip, my wife brought johnsonville chicken apple sausages. they are fully cooked. we've had them for years in the microwave at home ,but over a campfire, they are mouthwatering.they plump up so much that the skin pops open and the smokey flavor is incredible. i guess next time ,i'll try them with bacon wrapped around like a bacon dog.
