RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Laptop

Always been a film shooter but I just recently bought a Nikon D810. So now I'm needing to get a dedicated travel laptop for storage management, processing and running Photoshop and Lightroom. Don't want to break the bank either, so what do I need? Thanks in advance, Ron

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Discado cooker

Yes Charlie, alot cheaper than the Skottle, I couldn't justify what they wanted for theirs. Also wanted to make it shorter with aluminum legs. I have ordered the Blue Ridge Overland carrying bag though. Ron

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Discado cooker

Didn't like the cost of buying one of these so I gathered up materials and built my own. It's a great way to cook while out camping. I made it to use on the table top or ground, I may shorten it a few inches yet. Ron

#2 to the main battery also. Whats nice about the welding cable is the flexibility and it has a heavy insulation. Ron

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Automatic Charge Relay - How to Improve your battery isolator

Went with #2 welding cable to my camper battery from a Blue Sea ACR, gives me the ability to start the truck from either battery if needed. Solar panel keeps both batteries charged up. Ron

Yes, I also had to modify my latch system. Once the swing is closed there is no difference in where the load is actually, still sitting on top of the bumper. Ron

I have a CBI on my Tacoma with a single swing arm. I had to modify it to clear the rear of my Eagle, it was no problem. Any reputable fabrication shop should have no problem making a bumper work. Ron
