Don't use the blocks unless necessary, without the blocks you will be able to reposition the jacks a bit at a time just by kicking them in whatever direction you want the camper to move. Ron

I believe it is just a cheap quick connect that does not function properly and would replace it if there is a way to do so. Ron

Periodically lubricate the quick connect with a food grade lubricant. Worth a shot! Ron

I leave the step that I fabricated mounted in place, it's tucked out of the way under the swing away when traveling. Worked out great.

I would opt for using the rear wall solar receptacle if your not going to use it for a solar panel, just make an adapter pigtail. Ron
