You have probably checked this already but make sure your fridge isn't turned on and running on 12v. Don't ask me how I learned this years ago

Oooooh! that is the WORST way I can think of to learn about electricity!

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Is it just me?

I think we've all done it. I got into the habit of looking down at the RPM gauge before I start the truck. Definitely cringe worthy as stated above.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Green Creek - East Side Sierra Nevada

Casa, the Weber Q grills have a safety valve built in. You have to wait 5 minutes after you connect the gas before you can light the grill and get full flame. I learned this the hard way! Ski, love the TR as always, Brad

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West FWC Flat Bed Camper / Ram 2500 (Video from Germany)

Or, my personal favorite, the redneck version: "someone hold my beer, I'm gonna try something" :) (no offense to rednecks of which I am one)

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West truck/camper combo advice/opinions.

My 07.5 Ram 3500 was the first year with the 6.7. I drove it 90K miles before I traded it last year. Loaded, with my Arctic Fox 990 (4500 lbs wet), I got 9-11 mpg. Empty on the highway, I got about 13 or 14. Empty, in town it was back down to about 10mpg. However, at 6'9", I would definitely...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West options I would like to see

I think this is correct. We leave TX every summer for 2 weeks and always go west to escape the heat but, also just because we love the mountains. I don't bring my Honda 2000 along on these trips because we just don't need it but as you know, any type of camping in TX during the summer (and even...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Big Wind

I had gusts over 50mph the very first day I picked up the camper. I worried until I was too tired to worry any longer and finally fell asleep. No damage at all. Very impressed

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Buyers regret?

The only regret I have so far is related to setting up the truck. I went with Ride Rite bags and they perform flawlessly and the truck handles the load very very well. However, I plan on using this rig on some CO Jeep trails this summer and most of it's life will be spent thumping up and down...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West FWC uses - Other than camping

Good point about the zombies, maybe I'll go over the thread titled: "options I would like to see" and see if we can get FWC to beef up the roof to handle a .50 caliber gun.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West FWC uses - Other than camping

Like others have said, it's great to know the camper is waiting for me at the trail head stocked with food and drinks . Also, all the guys at work use it as a warming hut when we step outside to make or take a personal call. Giving tours to complete strangers seems to be a mandatory cost of...
