RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Has anyone installed an Eagle Model on the "older" Tundra Access Cab Pickup (2001 to 2006)

Hello, I sold my tacoma and now would like some easy directions as to what exactly I need to do to put my 2000 Eagle on my 2001 Tundra. I use the independent 3 jacks to raise and lower the camper onto the bed.....the bed`s too deep and the jack bolts on the underside will gouge my bed rails...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Replacing my front lift panels

Hello, I will be replacing my front lift panels this weekend. The wood is delaminating from the rivets on the top and bottom which is cutting into the vinyl. I have researched the "how to" thread and will tackle the beast in the morning. I`m going to reuse the piano hinge because I have`nt done...

Yep, SUREPOWER told me the same as above. They said the refund was sent out on September 28th.....I`m traveling and haven`t been to my PO box in over 6 weeks. They sounded genuine when I spoke to the rep. We`ll see! I have a friend picking up my mail in mid November. I`ll let the forum know.

My 1314 was on the recall list. I noticed that it got real hot! I am waiting for the $80 refund in the mail. I purchased the SUREPOWER 1315-200 instead. I didn`t want to wait until the end of September to get my replacement. I am very happy with SUREPOWER`S customer service. They sent me a UPS...

Greetings -- I'm so inspired by all of your great recommendations that I'm ready to add Lifting Helper Thingys to our Eagle. The exterior ones make more sense for us, because our dog will decapitate himself leaping up onto the bed. The ebay seller recommended seems pretty easy to figure out...

The boot is 8" long and only covers the shaft when in the down position. The shaft when exposed is 15" long, I believe. I didn`t want the boot to be that long because it bunched up too much in the down position so, when extended it should release whatever water if any gets trapped. With...

Here are some pictures....I didn`t consider the storm windows when I was brainstorming about where to attach the struts. Oh well, they still work. I cut a road bike tube and zip tied it on the strut to keep debris out when I`m driving. I didn`t have black zip ties and had to use gray. By the...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Suspension recommendation for a Toyota Tacoma

;) Where did you purchase the Timbrens from? I purchased them from Wheelers Off Road. I ended up emailing Timbren to remedy the spacer situation. Wheelers was extremely helpful but, I didn`t want to go through the middle man because I was in a hurry to get on the road from Cali to Colorado.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Suspension recommendation for a Toyota Tacoma

I ended up buying the Timbrens due to lack of funds for the full on suspension. Upon attaching the Timbrens, the space between the bottom of the "spring" and the plate were not within the specifications. I called Timbren and they sent me spacers, studs, and shorter springs at no charge...
