I have my old Pickett 1010 PowerTrig rule under a sign that says “Break Glass In Case Of Emergency”.

More than pretty good rain. Over two inches. I haven't seen the local creeks that high in years. Ponding in the usual spots. The local detention basin that I have never seen even slightly full was half full.

Yup, they were correct with the forecast. A little over a foot. Burned more diesel this morning. Good news, we have power. :)

Now this is a tad atypical: Twentynine Palms, CA - 1,500 feet lower and 900 miles souther than Bend, OR - is colder and wetter than Bend this morning.

I suspect this bizarre anomaly is VIRUS-related, though the exact causal relationship is unclear...

House is holding 65 degrees... First 2 days without running the furnace. 80's next week. Come-on! what happened to having 70's for a while!?!?

Screens on windows, furnace off; slept with window open for first time this year.
68º/40º today.
Walked the dog this morning without jacket or hat.

Here in Bend it's cool -- forecast highs in the low 60s, partly cloudy...kinda breezy. Springy.
