Into the Winds

I'm on the threshold of geezerdom and looking forward to it! :) A couple more months to go!
But with "geezerdom" comes rewards. You get your " magic kingdom/get out of jail/geezer card" soon. Just think of all the money you will save at half price, twice the bargain.

Oh, boy, what a trip! It really whets our appetites for when we leave in 10 days for western Wyoming. We aren't the hikers you two are (hubby has COPD) but the Green River Lakes area is on our itinerary.

What, no bear encounters? We are hoping for distant sightings but no closeups.

Your photography is really inspirational and now I know when to shoot Square Top.

Thanks for an outstanding TR.

clikrf8, thank you for the kind comments. We could write a book about our many bear encounters, but we have yet to see a bear in the Winds. On a backpack trip into the Winds in 2006 we spoke with two young female Wilderness Rangers who had encountered a grizzly the day before. They were still pretty nervous. Hope you get a good shot.
