When you can't go in a straight line or back and forth, it's a good day to go round and round. :)
Mr. 3pin, is that a quote from Confucius or Will Rogers?

"I come up with that one my ownself." :)
Mr. 3pin, yer clever and clairvoyant. Why clairvoyant? When I posted the dryer video on Facebook I captioned it with this:
"Round and round the damp clothes go,
And in just a few minutes they'll be dry, I know"

Or maybe it's the -"Great minds..." thing.

At least you will always be on familiar ground!

I was earning my turns this week. My house is right down there.

Nice view of Antelope Valley! How was the snow?
Tuesday, when I took the photo, was pretty much perfect Then we got a little wind and a lot of cold and we now have varying thicknesses of breakable crust, a little bit of settled powder and some wind pack so hard I can't get a ski edge to hold. I am now reduced to cruising on the lightweight x-c gear where I know there is a road beneath me as the brush is starting to melt out and grab my poles.

Some kind of strange, cold, white particles are falling from the sky.

I sure as heck ain't in south Texas no more.

Traveling today, midday, it was 13 degrees in Bridgeport, CA. 18 in Lee Vining, and 11 at Tom's Place. Burrrrrrrrrr. Beautiful pogonip enshrouding Mono Lake with rime ice on the trees.

Almost a centimeter of snow has fallen this evening at my house in Bend.

That's enough.
